Join the webinar: Erasmus Goes Digital!

Dear Colleagues,

On March 7th from 11:00 to 12:30 (CET), DG EAC will have a webinar on two exciting initiatives in the field of higher education: the European Student Card initiative and the Digital Opportunity Traineeships (DOT) initiative.

The European Student Card initiative will make it easier for students to access services and support before, during and after their mobility and facilitate the administrative processes around student mobility by digitising and streamlining them. Over 800 Higher Education institutions have already started testing the first functionalities. The Commission is planning for a step-by-step roll out of this initiative at the start of the next Erasmus+ programme in 2021. It is thus key that your members test the functionalities before the start of the next programme so we can ensure they are fit for purpose. In addition, the Digital Opportunity Traineeships are making the Erasmus+ programme even more relevant for Erasmus+ students by facilitating traineeships abroad to boost digital skills.

The webinar is aimed at anyone interested in the future of Higher Education, in particular, staff from Higher Education institutions who are responsible for student mobility programmes. To learn more please visit: https://ec.europa.eu/education/events/webinar-erasmus-goes-digital_en
